With that said, we wanted to take a moment to share our commitment to transparency and ethical AI practices. Our platform is powered by OpenAI, a leading AI research lab. We will abide by OpenAI's guidelines and best practices to ensure that our AI services are used responsibly and ethically. Please review OpenAI's Terms & policies to understand the limitations and potential risks of using AI services here.
With that in mind, here's what you can expect from our AI use:
- We don't send any identifying information about you with any of our requests to OpenAI.
- All requests are sent to OpenAI over an encrypted connection.
- If you want insight of a journal entry, we do send its contents to OpenAI.
- We use OpenAI's services to provide you with insightful responses to your journal entries, but only when you clearly request it.
- Once we receive a finished response from OpenAI, we delete the thread (which contains any content provided by you in certain scenarios) from OpenAI.
- Sometimes OpenAI is down. We can't control that, but we'll do our best to let you know if it's down and not subtract any Spark Tokens from your account if it is.
- New accounts get 25 free Spark Tokens to check out these AI services. After that, you'll need to purchase more Spark Tokens to use these services.
